10 things that I love: #4: "Ascendancy" by Mike Sleeper

I love this picture.

I don't know what it is about it, but it makes me feel really relaxed.
I have literally spent quite some time just starring at this photo.

I first discovered this picture while I was at the Salem Hospital doing an ER shift for paramedic school. The ER is divided into "Pods" and while I was in "Pod 2" I was walking along the back wall and noticed this picture.

I was instantly drawn to it.

I was sad to discover that such a beautiful piece of art was placed in a position where most can't see it.

Before I left the hospital, I decided to take a picture of it on my cell phone just so I could look at it later on.

Then one day, I was looking up a specific poster online and I randomly stumbled upon the exact photo I had seen in the hospital. So I purchased the photo, had it professionally framed, and arranged some wall art in my living room. Now it has a home in my living room, and I really think it adds character to the room.
