I have a little secret. I'm a closet romantic. There are certain scenes in certain movies that make my heart melt haha.
But if you tell anyone, I will kill you ;]
I'm going to share four scenes from three of my favorite movies.
The first scene is from the movie 'The Village.' It's an M. Night Shyamalan film. He's one of my favorite directors, although his last few films have not been as successful or "good" as his first few. The movie's soundtrack is also done by James Newton Howard, who is one of my favorite music composers. In the movie stars some of my favorite actors/actresses, including Sigourney Weaver, Bryce Dallas Howard, Joaquin Phoenix, Adrien Brody, and William Hurt. A lot of people do not like this movie, but I do. And there's this scene in the movie that involves the characters of Bryce Dallas Howard and Joaquin Phoenix, and it is one of my favorite movie scenes :D
Here it is:
The second movie scene I'm about to share is from the movie "Forrest Gump." It's a classic film, starring Tom Hanks. Anyway, the scene that I absolutely love is the scene where Forrest tells Jenny about part of his life journey, and at the end he says the most beautiful thing to her :D
The last movie scenes I'm about to share are from my favorite movie, "Big Fish." It's a Tim Burton film, with a beautiful soundtrack done by Danny Elfman and it stars Ewan McGregor, who is one of my favorite actors.
In the first scene, the main character Edward Bloom describes his first encounter with the love of his life. He does a beautiful job in doing so :D
The second scene shows how he wins the heart of his future wife. I love his determination, and I believe his love for Sandra is beautiful.

10 things that I love: #9: Harvest Blue Grape, Indiana Carnival Glassware
My family has been collecting this glassware for years. This glassware was created in the 1970's and every time I walk into a second-hand store, antique shop, or stop at a garage sell, I'm hoping to come across a piece to add to the our family collection.
This glassware only comes out of the china cabinet during special meals such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as a few Wedding parties.
They are fragile, expensive, beautiful, and have more sentimental value than most items in our home.
One of these days the collection will be handed down to me, and then hopefully one of these days I will have the opportunity to hand it down to someone else. In the meantime though, they have a nice place in our family china cabinet, on display to whoever walks by it, and only come out on special occasions.
Here are some pictures (ones that I've stolen off the internet) of some of these beautiful and rare pieces of glassware. Aren't the colors amazing?
Punch bowl with cups (we own at least 3)
Pitcher
Drinking glass
(This drinking glass is an actual picture that I took)
Goblet
Fruit Bowl
Candy dishes
Canister
Sugar bowl and creamer bowl
Butter cover and dish
Candle Holders
This is definitely a treasured collection, and I hope to add more pieces in the years to come :D

10 things that I love: #8: The Orca
The Orca (also known as a killer whale) has been my favorite animal since I was a little kid.
They are beautiful and majestic creatures.
Even the Indian Art of the killer whale is appealing to me.
One of these days, I hope to see wild orcas swimming in the Pacific Ocean.

10 things that I love: #6: The Historic Elsinore Theatre
I love this theater! It's located in Salem Oregon and still shows classic movies. It's affordable, classy, and fun. The inside of it is beautiful!
I usually enjoy catching a black and white silent film there.
The best thing about these silent films is they have someone who accompanies the movie with organ music, so while you watch the movie, he's creating music to go along with it. It's pretty amazing.
It's a very beautiful place, and I've always enjoyed going to shows there. My favorite showing that I've seen so far has been Charlie Chaplin's "The Gold Rush" film.
My second favorite showing was the silent film of Peter Pan from the year 1924 :]
I've also had the privilege of seeing my first Alfred Hitchcock film (Psycho) there as well.
In general, I feel really good when I'm there, and I love the surrounding...I just find the whole place beautiful.
The stain glass is beautiful, and shows classic Macbeth characters from Shakespeare's play.
Even the back side of the building is beautiful
I love this theater, and I look forward to seeing more shows there in the future :]
10 things that I love: #5: Objects that are exaggerated in size.
I don't know why, but I just love regular objects that are exaggerated in size! They make me laugh. :]
Here are some pictures of some every day objects that just happened to be exaggerated in size hahaha.
Other household items :]
Some awesome office supplies.
I personally own 2 of these giant paperclip wall hooks :]
Why yes, Aspirin is an office item haha
Some amazing sports/game supplies :]
The ironic thing about all this is, there is one giant object that I don't really like. And that's a giant sock monkey. It's ironic because I LOVE sock monkeys! But not when they are HUGE, ugh, it just creeps me out :/
I kinda blame this Kia commercial:
.....creepy!
