So I finally sat down and started writing out all my 2011 resolutions. I tried to organize them into categories....anyway, here they are!
Career Oriented.

2. Pass my written and nonwritten state practical/exam for paramedic.
3. Get my NFPA FF1 certificate.
4. Get my NFPA Driver certificate.

7. Read Thursdays with Moses.
8. Dine at 2 restaurants from my "places I want to eat at" list.
9. Dine at 1 restaurant from my "places I want to eat at" list that is specifically unique (i.e. an Indian restaurant, Japanese restaurant, Greek restaurant, etc....can't be the same restaurants from number 8; making a total of 3 different places from my "places I want to eat at" list)
Outdoor Recreation
10. Camp at Fort Stevens.
11. Hike Henline Falls Trail.
12. Swim at North Fork.
13. Go to at least one place I've never been to before (i.e. Crator Lake, Oregon Vortex, Smith Rock, Fort Clatsop, etc.)

22. Make a special gift project (for no occasion or reason) for a friend.
Home Projects
23. Saw up that old cherry tree at the end of the field (the one that fell down years ago)
24. Get rid of that pile of wood in the yard (in other words, cut it up and stack it.)
25. Get rid of that old camper.
26. Finish the kitchen.
27. Get my hot water heater temperature reset.
Random
28. Write a letter every month to someone out of state.
29. Have a planned lunch with my sister-in-law.
30. Eat a Turkish Delight.
31. Eat succotash.
32. Identify 10 things that make me happy (list and blog) *totally stole this from a friend's resolution list*
33. Return this 1899 bachelor's degree belonging to a "Clarence B. Overholts" to his family. (Wish me luck.)
The only one I'm really focusing on is number 1. If I succeed at number 1, then I won't feel so bad if I don't do much of the other stuff.
Wish me luck with everything, I'm hoping I'll be able to do at least half of them. Some of the things I actually have to depend on other people. Like getting rid of the camper, ha, well, it's not mine, but I'm gonna try and convince my folks to get rid of it, knowing my luck they'll say no, and I'll be stuck with it for another decade and an uncrossed resolution.
And of course #33. Seriously; I randomly found this bachelor's degree from 1899 in my house. It's over a 100 years old, and it belongs to someone we're not related too; I have no idea who 'Clarence Overholts' is, or how his college degree got in my house. I know he's dead, but perhaps the family would like it? Now, trying to find the family members of someone who died probably 50 years ago might be kinda hard...but hey, it's a challenge.
